Factory International, home of Aviva Studio, is a 13,350 square meters cultural venue located in Manchester. Opened in 2023, and ran by the team behind the MIF, it's hosting everything from international festivals to local artists collaborations, and has quickly become a global destination for arts and culture.

In continuation of the MIF, North was commissioned to craft the visual identity, in close collaboration with Peter Saville.

The opening show was Free Your Mind, a Matrix remix orchestrated by Danny Boyle, using all the capacities of the venue. North was commissioned to create the leading visuals of this show.

After seeing these visuals, Peter Saville started refering to me as "code-man".

To celebrate the opening of the building, DJ Nabihah Iqbal made an album that was then offered to all the workers and contributors to the factory.
To design the sleeves of the vinyls, we took photographs of details taken during the construction of the building, and randomly combined them together to create 1500 unique numbered sleeves.

When I was asked how I could prove each sleeve was unique, I had to bet one month of my salary on it, as it was easier than explaining the structure of the code. (it was pretty simple)
